The SEEKER is a tournament rigged 45′ Hatteras sport fishing yacht. She is powered by two twin turbo super-charged V8 Detroit Diesel motors making her the fastest, most stable and most powerful charter boat in the fleet.

The Seeker has a large flybridge that can seat up to six people and is covered by an extra large fiberglass hardtop providing for lots of shade

The SEEKER is also routinely inspected by her owner to make sure that after each outing we are doing our jobs to wash and scrub her decks, walls, heads, and galley to remove salt spray, food, trash, and fish remains.

Their standards are drill sergeant high. Everything is sparkling, clean, dry, and odorless all of the time.

Big bonito and yellowtail schools are providing really fun surface action on the extended ¾ day trips on the Patriot the last few days with yellowtail from 15-25 pounds and bonito from 3 pounds to over 12 pounds (lots of 8-12 pound fish). Bonito and yellowtail are biting fly lined sardines/mackerel as well as array of surface jigs. These larger bonito are tough fighters maybe the hardest pulling fish pound for pound we catch (and super fast running).

Fun fishing continues with Patriot having pretty non-stop action on yellowtail and "large" bonito while fishing Catalina Island the last few days. Almost every bait is bite in some of the best fishing at Catalina Island in years. On Sunday Sept 28, the Patriot had only 19 anglers catch 61 yellowtail, 95 (5-10 lb) bonito, 19 calico bass, and 1 skipjack tuna. They hooked many more fish to land the 170+ fish they did. These larger bonito are so fast that when they are hooked they have you from the back of the boat to bow in a blink of an eye.

Nautilus/Patriot & Aggressor called in with their stellar final fish counts for the day:

Nautilus grabbed 98 Yellowfin Tuna & 92 Skipjack Tuna for 31 anglers

Patriot pulled up 118 Yellowfin Tuna, 15 Skipjack Tuna & 5 Yellowtail for 33 anglers

Aggressor caught 37 Yellowfin Tuna & 12 skipjack Tuna for 19 anglers.


Our sister company, Davey's Locker, had two of their boats depart on 3/4 day trips today and they brought back a combined mixed bag of 400+ tuna & yellowtail for both boats combined.

The bite has been solid for the past two months and has ONLY GOTTEN BETTER AFTER SUMMER!
