RV trip to Laughlin, Nevada, USA

The desert of the Southwest United States is a great place to take the RV. I especially like Laughlin. The Colorado River passes thru the town and meanders south towards the Topock Gorge and Lake Havasu. 

I like RV trips that not only put you next to big rivers but also have some city activities.

Laughlin has abundant natural scenes but also some casinos. 

Most casinos have free overnight RV parking and some have full hookups at low prices.

Harrah's casino has large RV parking with friendly security that will watch your site while you spend some time in the casino.

I also like the free RV parking at the Avi Casino. It is close to the Colorado River for a easy dip. You need to be a staying in the Hotel to use their private beach and pool but they are very hospital if you are there for the casino (go figure). 

A beach is easily accessed just North of the casino property.

The city of Laughlin is a low key gambling town welcoming RV'ers in most all establishments.

Harrah's, Tropicana, Aquarius, Colorado Belle, Don Laughlin's Riverside, Edgewater, Golden Nugget, Pioneer are the larger casinos located here.

Casinos, desert scapes, big rivers, boats, personal watercraft are all great fun but after a couple of days I'm ready to head down the road to Lake Havasu.
