RV camping in Huntington Beach recalls the days when surfers slept right on the beach and woke up to the sound of waves. Surf City USA offers two year-round and one seasonal RV campground, making it one of the best beach RV campground locations in the state.
Bolsa Chica State Beach offers year-round RV camping in its beach parking lot north of the Huntington Beach Pier. Located across from the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, this campground is the perfect spot for surf fishing.
Huntington By the Sea RV Resort also offers year-round RV camping just across the street from the beach - and has amenities including a clubhouse with television, pool and game tables, and a swimming pool.
Sunset Vista RV Campground is available October through May each year and is located in the beach parking lot just south of the Huntington Beach Pier. Within walking distance of downtown Huntington Beach, it's in the perfect location for a Southern California beach vacation.
There is a California State Park Pass included in the rental.
You can stay from 6am to 10 pm in the parking lot on the sand for free (pass included) but you must leave at night. I usually go about a mile inland and sleep in a parking lot or street The gates open at 6am for re entry.
You can also pay for a camping spot for about $50 - $75 per night at the camping sites listed above or travel to other State Parks along the coast.
