15 year old Jack Leverone is son and first mate. I am Dale's wife, Jack's mom and webmaster. Captain Dale is a 30-year veteran of charter fishing in Kona. Jack was born and raised here and has grown up on the boat.

They both live to fish, and they both have great natural ability and instinct, as well as much experience with big and small game fish.

Kona has been a world-renowned blue marlin hotspot since the 1940s with most of the world records and the biggest
marlin in the world being caught here. We also catch yellowfin tuna, striped marlin, Shortnose spearfish, Mahi Mahi, and Ono (wahoo). The typical and most productive method is trolling handmade Hawaiian style lures on which all species are a possibility. Live bait is another option, if we find the right conditions.

The Pursuit was hand built in North Carolina specifically for sport fishing and was fully-refit three years ago with new engines, electronics, transmissions, generator, wiring, and plumbing.
